Marc grew up in Seal Beach, California, a small ocean community 20 miles southeast of Los Angeles. Marc's foray into music came when he was 13 years of age when he discovered a talent for playing the piano; a gift which came naturally to him and within months he learned to play most of Scott Joplin's rags. This talent evolved into a passion for music composition which led to a Master of Fine Arts in Music Composition from UC Irvine and a Ph.D. in Composition from UCLA.
His primary position at this time is the Musical Director of the Hour of Power Orchestra at the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, California. Marc arranges, orchestrates and conducts music of all genres for Sunday morning services at the Crystal Cathedral and Hour of Power television broadcasts.
Marc currently resides in Long Beach, California with his wife, Beth, their poodle, Julien and three cats; Fiona, Lili, and Pippin.
