Since studying classical trumpet at the Royal Academy of Music James has worked mostly in musical theatre. He still enjoys other work such as orchestral concerts, commercial recordings through to TV broadcasts.
Over the past 15 years he has published numerous arrangements for brass ensembles and had many pieces performed around the world by world class artists.
