"... Another excellent arrangement .... with useful historical notes and performance advice based on the tonal and stylistic demands of the music. This arrangement remains faithful to the original keys of the piece and the piano part is well spaced, maintaining a texture that mimics the orchestral parts well all without making the piano part too difficult for the accompanist (or brave trombone teacher) .... The value of this arrangement lies in the fact that years of orchestral experience have been used to create both textures and musical guidance that prepare and educate the young player. This is a very good investment for any aspiring trombonist."
